F Dick Heavy 12" Chef Knife Stainless Pakka Germany 1970s / 80s
Heavy chef knife from F Dick from the late 70s or 80s with fully forged stainless blade and old style pakka wood composite handle and aluminum rivets, the typical handle configuration of the 1970s and 80s before POM plastic became the norm.
This knife had been sharpened in and has been thinned behind the edge with a very convex face, not at Bernal Cutlery but a good job was done. It's marks wer very light when we found it and in the process of cleaning light surface oxidization were lost.
This knife would be good for heavy tasks that might damage a thinner knife better suited for vegetables.
