Concentrated walnut oil from wood worker Mike Mahoney, this oil is a major arrow in our knife restoration quiver. It is self hardening with exposure to air and UV light, after penetrating dry wood it is no longer oily or greasy feeling after hardening, bringing back lost moisture and color to old wood. This oil is specially concentrated with controlled heating that does not denature (harden and curl) the proteins in the oil giving it finishing properties that plain old walnut oil for food use will not have.
